Killed by Quads

Wow, I'm so glad I started this blog! Now I can always remember the horrendously bad beat I took after I spent 3 hours playing a 2000 person freeroll at Bodog. I don't usually play many freerolls anymore, but I was just passing the time while I setup this blog. Top 99 get paid and I'm sitting near the average with around 20,000 chips and 85 people left. So I've beaten 95% of the field and made a whopping $2.50!

The blinds are 600/1200 and antes 125 when I get red 88 in early position. I limped along with 2 others, nobody raised behind and the flop came Q83 - 2 clubs. The small blind bets, I raise the pot, he raises all-in and I of course call. He shows red pocket 3's, no possible straight or flush so I've got him dead to the case 3. His user name was "LiveDieOnRiver". What do you think happened?

Well, I followed up with 2nd place in a $5+.50... Went to heads up down 2:1, played back to even because my opponent was a timid amateur. Stacks were even, lost with AQ suited against 89 offsuit. 65% - 35% so I got my money in good. What are you gonna do...
